Is it me or you can feel the summers knocking on the doors too? It’s not my favorite season and I will miss my cozy winters. But summers are all about fresh florals and bright colors. And it is not just your tops, dresses or leggings that could have that floral print but the most basic piece in your wardrobe – the jeans!
And that is what we are talking about today. Floral jeans and another classic trend – Peplum.
If you don’t know what exactly a Peplum is, it is very similar to a tutu (the ballerina skirt) made by pleated or gathered fabric which can be attached to the waist of a skirt, trouser ,dress and just about anything. Peplum has been around since the 19th century and will continue to be a hit trend because –
IT flatters all body types!
Doesn’t matter if you are curvy, skinny or athletic this peplum will suit you! All you have to figure out is where you want your peplum to be. If you have a heavy abdomen, go for a peplum that starts slightly below your waist. If you are to skinny make sure your peplum has a snug fit around the waist and a lot of volume in the pleats!
Printed denims have been in for the last two seasons and floral jeans are very easy pick to style and give your outfit a fresh twist. Invest in one floral jeans at least because it will make you stand out instantly.
I got this floral jeans from All About You by Deepika Padukone just last month and it was a great deal at 40% off so I ordered these immediately. It pair has a great fit, the stretch fabric is super comfortable for the summer season plus it adjusts to my fluctuating waistline. Girl problems people.
I wanted to pair this floral jeans with an equally gorgeous top and I had visualized this styling in my mind when I bought the jeans. Does that happen to you too while shopping?
The red peplum top has got a very flattering fit girls. It hides those problem areas instantly. You can find the top HERE .
Another stunner in the outfit is the silver statement necklace. These have been all the rage in the blogosphere for so long now and I had to bring this to you. Give your golds some rest and buy some rustic silver jewelry next time you head to shop. That is the only accessory I used and it just brought the look together.
This cute mini tote and my neutral sandals finished the look. This is what I wore to my Valentines Lunch and I was super comfortable throughout. So sorry that this post got delayed due to my travels to Mumbai & Goa and I literally no internet whatsoever. Will share the pictures in the next post!
